Job Title: Summer Intern (Minimum 3 Weeks, Up to 6 Weeks)

Duration: 8:45 AM to 2:15 PM (Monday through Friday)

Position Overview: Youth Tech Academy is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Volunteer Instructors for our summer tech camps. These camps provide technical education to students from 5rd to 8th grade through engaging, week-long sessions focused on subjects like cybersecurity, AI, hardware, robotics, coding, and leadership. As an Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of young learners, inspiring them to explore potential careers and educational pathways in STEM fields. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver interactive and engaging lessons in one or more of the following areas: cybersecurity, AI, hardware, networking, coding, and leadership.
• Prepare educational materials and structured lesson plans for daily activities.
• Monitor and assist students with hands-on projects and guide them through problem-solving processes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and active participation.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
• Collaborate with other instructors and camp coordinators to ensure a cohesive and safe environment for all participants.

Qualifications:

• Currently in high school or college and have interest in  Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of and passion for technology and education.
• Previous experience teaching or mentoring young students is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to commit to minimum three week-long camps during the summer. Internship can be extended upto 6 weeks.
